The Power of Scent
Have you ever been in a room and smelled something that reminded you of a particular place and time? Well it happens to me all the time. The sense of smell is often looked upon as insignificant, but we all use this sense to access likeability and sexual attractiveness. When a girl thinks of a guy, she usually thinks of the way he smells and for guys, vice versa. Picking the right perfume or cologne should be considered a big deal. Try to find something that compliments your lifestyle or personality. When putting on fragrances, remember that less is more. Plenty of people go wrong when they drown themselves in cologne or perfume. I know at one point of time everyone has been to a place where someone's fragrance have almost made you sick because they had TOO much on! Another thing to remember is to put the fragrance on your skin, instead of clothes. Doing this will cause your natural pheromones to react with the fragrance, creating your own unique scent!

The other day i went into a room and i had to just leave beccause some lady had so much perfume on it just made me sick. I think more people should pratice the less is more.
ReplyDeleteI usually spray twice. I spray once on my neck and once on my inner arm. I think that is perfect.
ReplyDeleteI wear Polo Black and I hear numerous times how good I smell and I don't use a lot at all so I guess that less is more concept really works.
ReplyDeleteI love cologne, it is one of the things I am not price sensitive on. I love the cologne from Italy like Dolce and Gabbana, and from France like Dior. I really love sweet and dark scents, with more sweet in the day time and more dark at night. But I know that some people are turned off from certain smells but that isn't going to stop me from wearing them.
ReplyDeleteI agree completely. Smelling good is very important, but you don't want to over do it. It's also important to find a cologne that compliments you. What smells good on one individual may not smell good on a different individual. It's not easy shopping for a new fragrance, so it's important to consider all of these factors.

ReplyDeleteAs the old saying goes, "you get what you pay for" is usually true. While the cheaper colognes fade after a short time, the better quality (higher priced) colognes stay with you all day. Smelling good should be just that - good, not offensive.
